How do I turn on ClearVPN?

If you want ClearVPN 2 to protect your connection without additional hassle, here’s what you need to do:

1. Open your ClearVPN app. 
2. Click on that huge connection button in the center.
3. That’s it! By default, ClearVPN's Optimal location mode is turned on, so you'll get connected to the fastest server automatically.

But ClearVPN is about so much more than just a quick IP change – it has tools for multiple online tasks! If you want to have more control over your VPN, then you might want to pick one of our three ready-made VPN mode for specific tasks:

1. Connect to 50+ servers located in 45+ countries. It’s simple: pick a country from our list, click Teleport me, and we will connect you to the servers in this country. That way, you can browse local and geo-blocked content.
2. Use hashtags if you want to watch more shows on your favorite streaming service, hunt for lower prices, or connect with maximum privacy protection laws. Each hashtag will sort the country list, with countries at the top being the most attractive destinations for your needs.
3. Use widgets and Siri commands (for MacOS and iOS users). You can set up various shortcuts for quick VPN access in the Features section of the app.
4. Add ClearWeb to your Chrome browser. We also have a Chrome browser extension that will help you block ads, trackers, and threats as you browse. To install it, go to Features tab in the app.
